Local Government ::

We have designed, supplied and delivered from the ground up, public access touchscreen systems and software packages that provide information for a number of different applications. Kiosks4business touchscreens and software are now a familiar site in an increasing number of councils as they fulfill a serious need for complete managed solutions inclusive of web hosting, remote diagnostics, remote media upload and media usage stats and the all important Public Consultation. Our touchscreen systems and custom software have proved in creasingly popular such thet there are now just short of 100 deployments of our systems in 10 different councils with a further 10 ten councils with our PIP system and Surveypoint under serious consideration.

With the mandatory nature of CIS delivery along with Public Consultation the complete solutions offered by Kiosk4business are clearly gathering favour with many Service heads with the earliest deployment now having been in situ for 18 months. None of the deployments, so far, have been out of commission for any time at all since commissioning.

PRODUCTS

Parent Information Point

Wall mounted touchscreen system with custom software for the Childcare Information Service to parents and carers about caring for children, going back to work, and a host of other information besides. Central government has made provision of this information by local governments mandatory, and not only that they also have to show that the information has actually been delivered.  Kiosks4business' Parent Information Point provides information in four ways: on-screen, via a print-out to our locally sited wireless printer, via an e-mail to the user's home e-mail account and lastly through a free phone call using the integrated digital telephone handset (based on VoIP technology). The touchscreen machines is a significant improvement on normal kiosk products by being compact, wireless and wall-mounted. Part of the system allows each council to control it's estate of machines by using a single, web-based Management Console. This console also provides usage statistics on-demand and more. Parent Information Point is a very complete offering but the focus of the system remains very firmly, the user.

mykiosk is the core touchscreen computer system used within much of our 'complete Solution' product range. From the outset it was designed to be ultimately flexible such that it can be deployed in a very wide variety of circumstances. Mykiosk can be used anywhere for any touchscreen application.
