Parent Information Point Rev. 2 launched
Kiosks4business has officially launched revision 2 of its Parent Information Point (PIP) software. Already deployed across the UK in many places, PIP has already become the best known information system for Early Years, CIS, Youth and Family orientated council services with record adoption. Mike Powell, divisional director at kiosks4business said "we have made more than 25 major improvements to the original version of PIP, making the system easier to use, more flexible and delivering more information than before". Chris Cowper, lead developer at kiosks4business added "we are preparing for the future; our system will integrate with other systems making administration really easy" See 'case studies' for the many followers of the PIP philosophy |

Kiosks4business launches SurveyPoint
kiosks4business has announced it's latest product, SurveyPoint. Created in response to the growing requirement for councils to consult with the public on a whole range of issues, SurveyPoint neatly sidesteps many of the disadvantages of traditional surveying techniques such as high cost, low response rate and initial engagements. The software can be integrated in a number of kiosks4business hardware platforms, including mykiosk and mykiosk portable. The software is also Parent Information Point compatible, meaning that both applications can live on the same hardware and infact "knit" themselves together such that delivery of information to parents and carers is neatly integrated with the ability to respond to questions. SurveyPoint is centrally managed by you with many surveys deployable simultaneously. The surveys can run on many machines in wide geographies such that a good mix of demographies are addressed. SurveyPoint is live; when you check the results on the Management Console they are indeed realtime.

At the NACIS conference in London on 20 February 2008 the kiosks4business surveypoint was used for a delegate survey. In September 2006, kiosks4business launched the Parent Information Point system at NACIS in York. In October 2007 they launched SurveyPoint. This year at NACIS in London we will be demonstrating Parent Information Point 2 + SurveyPoint Mobile, taking delegate surveys live on behalf of NACIS.
