Parent Information Point

Parent Information Point - what's it all about? How did we come to design the terminal and software? Click here..

BBC Asian Network

A complete information point solution and tower designed for the BBC Asian Network. This allowed users - the general public - to get a modern interactive audio experience as part of the 2005 Summer Sounds Tour. The mechanical design had to reflect an Asian feel and the final design was in a pink plastic fretwork to complement the BBC colour theme for the Summer Sounds Tour. And, to make matters more interesting we had to supply the whole design and terminals in a 'knock-down' form and in a trailer to be able to be taken and erected at all venues in the UK. Hartwell Motor Dealers

Our brief from Hartwell motor dealers was to create a mechanically strong computer system for their service bay technicians. Obviously, the units needed to withstand the horrific conditions typical of vehicle workshops: grease, brake fluid, water, dust, smoke, extremes of temperature, and physical abuse. The overall deployment of 250+ (we lost count) across the UK was testament to our design. Veyr few have come back for service and most of the few that have are for grease filled trackballs!!!
